Dynamic Kaeda

Okay, so this little beauty is a picture of my Naruto OC, Kaeda Kyoko. She's about 17/18 in this picture, so it would be a little bit after the Shippuden. You'll notice that her hair is REALLY long now...well, that's because after getting it cut so short when she was younger, she decided to never cut it again until she couldn't stand it anymore.

I know that this pose is a little weird...but it's definately dynamic! Gai-sensei would be proud, I think. Yeah, well I used a reference of some wierd fantasy character in a manga book I have, but this drawing is strictly free hand. No tracing for Katie.

The hair gave me fits, though. Argh! I had to go over it in darker ink twice to get that right before I could even color it! (I traced the original, which is in my scraps, since I knew I'd screw up the coloring or something ) But here she is! All colored and beautiful! And shaded no less!

Overall, this piece took about 4-5 hours. Blah.

Sadly, the Naruto Universe belongs to Kishimoto and not I. Luckily, I do own Kaeda! Yays!
